So I originally planned to have all my novellas and shorts free from now until after valentines day. Apparently, all the careful setup and planning has failed because Amazon made not a one free. So I will be setting up freebie days for each. This means a shorter amount of time to get them free but they will all be free at some point throughout the month. It will start tomorrow. Look for the following books throughout the month.
It is 2019 and I have to say so far I have had days where I feel on top of things and some where I was positive the world was out to get me. So here is what you can expect for the new year.
1. New releases: Some of you may have already noticed the release of Alice's Ivyland, well there are plenty more books coming your way.
Other than Alice is bad wolf the 3rd installment of the Animal Within series. It is a continuous story line but with different main characters and you should read them in order or you will miss things. Also this one has gone from naughty romance to erotica. You have been forewarned.
Shifting Heroes is the next installment to the Shifting Blood series. It is unique because it is told from Brian's point of view not Beth. She is in the story, promise, this is just a result of how Shifting Truth ended.
Empress...the last book in the Champion series. This one was intense for me because so many shocking moments I hadn't planned on ended up being added to the series. It is my first completed series and thus I have a bit of book hangover. I still miss the characters. It is time to move on though.
Rooming with the Supernatural is book 2 of the Hidden World trilogy. Honestly when I wrote book 1 it was going to be a single. But the characters would not shut up so I ended up planning 2 more books and going back to change a bit of things in book 1. Because of that book 1 is a bit of a mess and is going to an editor ASAP. I already had it reformatted but my editor was busy with my newest release and Bad Wolf. So book 1 will soon flow much better.
I also have 3 anthology pieces coming out. 1 thriller and 1 horror (same anthology) in a fairy tale anthology and a piece in a classics anthology. I am doing a clean young adult high school Shakespeare interpretation. More on all 3 later.
2. Other than writing my new stuff I will be updating my old stuff, and expanding my marketing. I hope to join some events and do some giveaways (swag, ebooks, maybe some other authors books I find cool).
3. On top of that I home school my son. It is a full time job on its own. But he is super smart and zips along allowing me more time for writing.
4. We are trying to buy a house. That's right, hopefully soon, I will be moving into a house. We are tired of apartment living. The people above us are heavy steppers and up til all hours. I sleep a few hours at night and a few hours in daytime because sadly I am a light sleeper so they wake me often. Also we just want a space our own. My husband likes to garden vegetables (they all taste better from the garden than any store I swear). I like to keep flowers. And we want a section of lawn for our son to play outside. Not to mention I am noticing that an office space might be a definite positive because the boys, as much as I love them, are intrusive as heck when I sit and try to focus.
Some of you may remember that last year my old fluffball of a cat passed and a little while later (when my family could no longer take my anxiety ridden depressed self) we got 2 new kittens. They have settled in, claimed the place, and turned into little demons. Fast growing little demons that think fighting over my lap, on my lap, is great fun. Even better when I already have my laptop on my lap...sigh. I love them but sometimes I wonder why I thought kittens were an awesome idea lol. So cute cat pictures will wrap this up. The top one is Diana, the Bottom is Freya. Cute right? DON'T FALL FOR IT!!!!
I mentioned earlier on that my sales for other platforms were not making up for my missing out on KU readers. So everything is back on KU and coming down from other sites. Sorry those of you that read on other platforms. Maybe consider doing the read and review next time I send out an email asking for readers. Sorry to those this pushes out but for those of you that live on KU welcome to a full inventory.
So Alice's Ivyland is up for pre-order. Take advantage now because once it is no longer pre-order it will be $1.99
As you all know I put my series on multiple platforms so that it could reach a wider audience. Well sales so far are not worth what I am losing in KU pages so at the end of this year if things have not improved I am putting them all exclusively on amazon again. Sorry buyers of other platforms but this is my income and if its not enough to surpass kindle KU page reading its not worth it.
I am lowering my e-book prices for all of December. 99 cents for the entire month! A book sale for the holidays. Happy happy holidays to one and all!
Coming November 1st and available for preorder!
Last year Bethany was betrayed by her partner, kidnapped by her partner’s boss, and drugged. Something she is still feeling the after effects of. She also got into a relationship with Brian, a geeky vampire she just can’t seem to stay away from and owes her life to. After a nice vacation in the tropics, she is feeling ready to continue on with her life. She throws herself into her work, including a job to find out if her undead grandmother is insane and needs to be killed.
It's just her luck that while dealing with all that her dead partner is back and looking for vengeance. You wouldn’t think a ghost could be so much trouble for a hybrid like her but he isn’t a normal ghost, he’s the ghost of a Fae and it takes a special type of exorcism to get rid of them. It’s up to Bethany, Jason, and Brian to find the secrets of an ancient ritual to send Kyle to the ever after. That is if she does not go insane first.
The giveaway is closed and I will be picking winners and emailing them the winner link. If you see your name below keep your eyes open for an email with a link to claim your prize!
You will likely hear from me very little for a while. My furbaby, that I have been with longer than hubby or kid, has cancer and is receiving care at home. Basically, a home hospice to make him comfortable until he passes so we can spend what little time he has left with him. Fox still seems normal. He is not in any pain and he still cuddles and plays with us. They said he will last about a month, 2 weeks if we unlucky, 6 if we very lucky. All I want to do is cry.
Work will be on the back burner for now. There is also Halloween, November 6th is my son's bday, then there's Thanksgiving, and last but not least X-mas. So if you need me pm me but do not be surprised if I don't respond for a few days. I have a lot on my plate and right now family is the top priority.
I have a few newsletters set up to go out when the time is right, new release announcements and such. Other than that I will be scarce until the new year.
So remember that apple picking I did? I have so many apples! I made homemade applesauce, we ate apples, and I made apple pie. Still have soooooo many. Send recipes please! Any apple recipe you have tried and loved! We have a variety of kinds so if it requires a specific apple feel free to mention that too!
I love to write. In my spare time I nerd out on manga and anime. I read...a lot. When I am pried away from that I like photography (by that I mean a digital camera that I use to document my family's life... obsessively so). I also like nature. I am told I am like a puppy because if I do not get my daily walk outside I am unbearable to be around.
