So I tallied the results of the forms to find out how often you want to hear from me and what you want to hear when I do contact you. This is how it came out looking:
about 90% of you want to hear it all. pets, people, books, the whole shebang. as for how often it was a bit jumbled. A majority (by the smallest percentage ever) said every 2 weeks. 1 week was in second place (very close behind the 2 weeks). and a few for only once a month. So you will likely hear from me a couple times a month (unless something pops up) and it will be about life and books.
So here goes personal. The flu hit my house. The one that is putting tons of people in the hospital. Well it did my son and I too. Neither of us could keep water or saltines down even. So we spent two days in the ER. My hubby got sick as well but his was not so bad to end up in ER. All of it was horrendous. We are on the mend now but still sick and exhausted. Coughing, fevers off and on, mostly eating pretzels and Popsicles. I am completely behind on everything because of it. My son is behind on school and husband is now going back to work and trying to catch up on his work. We are all alive though so I consider this a win.
As for work though this weekend I am going to be going through everything and making full work up of everything to come this year and when. that email will go out next week once its done. yes it will take me all weekend. i keep falling asleep sitting up. apparently having the flu, sinus infection, upper respiratory infection all at once is exhausting. my sister is helping with my son, who is already basically mended, while i slowly recover. apparently kids bounce back so much faster than adults.
Well thats all until the year long update email. hope everyone is healthier than i am!
I love to write. In my spare time I nerd out on manga and anime. I read...a lot. When I am pried away from that I like photography (by that I mean a digital camera that I use to document my family's life... obsessively so). I also like nature. I am told I am like a puppy in the fact that if I do not get my daily walk in I am unbearable to be around.
