My house is busy preparing for one of its fave holidays. Halloween! The candy, the costumes, the pumpkins. Right now gourds and orange decor litter my house. I couldn't be happier. I know most people hate the hectic stretch (that is what I call the Halloween, thanksgiving, Xmas stretch that causes everyone to go broke). I however LOVE the holiday stretch. I love cooking with apples and pumpkins freshly picked. I love cooking for a dozen people. I love decorating the house in sparkles and evergreen. I love giving presents. I always have them all ready before thanksgiving and then spend the next month trying hard to not give them to everyone early. So the hectic stretch has started and I am super excited! The cute little monsters make me giggle. I have to say they make me love Halloween more. My family (aka all the kids I know) love them too. I have a feeling I will be printing out a lot of these on little cards for (insert giggling here).
In closing I hope all of you have a safe and...

Holidays are always going to be busy, especially for parents. Recently, I have entered the world of parenthood and it is not as easy as I thought. First of all, I cannot really do much that I was able to do in the past. The amount of responsibility that is one my shoulders are really suffocating. I am stressed both mentally and physically, that is how hard parenthood can be. This will be my first Christmas as a husband and father.

AuthorI love to write. In my spare time I nerd out on manga and anime. I read...a lot. When I am pried away from that I like photography (by that I mean a digital camera that I use to document my family's life obsessively). I also like nature. I am told I am like a puppy because if I do not get my daily walk outside I am unbearable to be around. Archives
